Was ist neu im Release 5700?

  1. PDA Integration
  2. LDAP Integration
  3. Restrict/Allow customization of user login creation through incoming mails (Settings available in Self-Service Portal under Admin)
  4. E-Mail parsing is now an option in FacilitiesDesk. Reduces supervisors time in sorting a work request
  5. Maintenance Management is now Work Order Management. Not just maintenance breakdown requests, any request pertaining to facilities and operation management in your company can be raised managed with this feature
  6. Prioritizing tasks in work requests
  7. Preventive Maintenance is offered as a separate feature for easy usability
  8. Purchase Order Feature has been revamped to offer better usability to the purchase and facility managers
  9. Knowledgebase and Space tab configuration is available in self service portal
  10. Offering the requester login the option of viewing the Space tab can be decided by the Facility Manager (Settings available in Admin - Self-service Portal)
  11. Choose your desired theme for the system out of the 3 given options (Blue, green and grey skins)
  12. Windows 2008 server support is declared from this release
  13. Delete option offered for Region, site, floor and room in the Space Tab under Admin settings

ManageEngine FacilitiesDesk Version 5500 wurde fertiggestellt und bringt wichtige Funktionen mit.

  • Grid-Layout: This is a major feature that’s going to be handy for Space Management module in several ways…
    • Irrespective of using AutoCAD, Grid layout feature can be utilized for understanding the space usage in each floor of the building
    • Grid layout is a customizable tool kind of a feature, where you can presume cubes as rooms of a floor
    • Resize those cubes to intuitively fit the layout and click and drop the decided cubes in the respective places of the layout outline
    • Each cube pertaining to a assumed room can be color coded to differentiate its room type
    • The resources associated with each rooms can be viewed in the grid layout then and there
    • Also the users associated with each rooms can be viewed for the required details in the same screen
    • Vacant rooms can be visualized and hence making spot and quick decisions and relocations can be made easier
  • Integration with ServiceDesk Plus
    • Hopping from FacilitiesDesk to ServiceDesk plus is made easy now for the technician who handles both the system
    • When a user or supervisor wants to lodge a request to “ServiceDesk Plus” while they are logged in FacilitiesDesk, maintenance request form will have the necessary fields to route their ServiceDesk request to ServiceDesk Plus [provided the ServiceDesk Plus settings are incorporated in FacilitiesDesk]
